Gethsemeny Ashram, Rayarome

There has been the feeling that we do not yet have an Ashram in the heart-land of Catholic migrants. Hence, we were in the lookout for a suitable centre. Br Biju Elampachanveettil and Jiji Mathew Puliyamthottiyil took the initiative to find a suitable location. From among several proposals the 2-acre plot of land facing the Hill highway near Rayarome was chosen. Br Biju Neelamthara was asked to supervise the construction of the Ashram. The Ashram was blessed on 31st October by Mar Joseph Pamplany, Archbishop of Tellicherry.
