Nazerath Ashram, Ambalathara

The capuchin presence and service were non-existent in the extensive area of North Kasargod district. Ambalathara, adjacent to Kanhangad, was chosen as a Centre for a new Capuchin Ashram. For this purpose, we were on the lookout for a suitable plot of land with the help of Br Lijo Thadathil and our friends from Ambalathara. As decided by the Provincial Council we bought a plot of land measuring 1.5 acres. After a while a much more suitable plot of land by the side of the main road and adjacent to Snehalayam was found and the council decided to establish the Ashram in this plot of land. The plot of land measuring a little less than an acre was bought on 28th Sept. 2020. Br Lijo Thadathil is in charge of the construction.
